Mission 1: Complies with QHSE rules, instructions and procedures in force at SPIE OGS.
Activities:
He/She:
- Must be and must remain well informed of rules, instructions and procedures regarding QHSE.
- Ensures implementation of SPIE OGS QHSE rules, instructions and procedures.
- Makes proposals for the continuous improvement of QHSE provisions.
Mission 2: Complies with project contract, project scope of work, instructions, general specifications including other related engineering standards.
Activities:
He/She:
- Shall produce engineering deliverables specifically according to project contract and project scope of work.
- Shall get familiarized with all applicable general specifications and related engineering standards.
- Shall establish technical link between engineering, general specifications, engineering standards and fully integrate the technical link into APM deliverables.
- Proactively highlights any engineering best practices or standards into engineering deliverables as part of APM continuous improvement initiatives.
- Vigilantly highlights any technical engineering deviations or non-conformance or unacceptable risk to superior hierarchy level.
Mission 3: Produces high quality APM engineering deliverables.
Activities:
He/She:
- Reviews local legislation/standards requirements as well as other associated engineering documentations and Customer Specifications.
- Performs technical data consolidation and engineering analysis.
- Performs write up on technical documentations or reports.
- Is responsible for providing engineering technical solution, proposal or any other engineering deliverables govern under project scope of work.
- Supports colleagues on other PROJECTs by bringing point of view, experience, knowledge sharing, QC check
- Supports Reliability Centered Maintenance and the Optimization studies.
- Builds up global maintenance plan (including lubrication plan, running plan, CBM plan, maintenance procedures and all documents/ sheets linked to the maintenance tasks).
- Build up Spare Part Strategy according to Operations and Maintenance Needs
- Analyses and optimize Maintenance Operational Spare Parts List and quantities
- Performs Spare Part Stock Optimisation
- Prepare Capital List of Spare Parts
- Prepare Bill of Materials for Equipment
- Draws up Supply Chain Process
- Prepare CMIMS Templates for any engineering deliverable
- Review/QC check Deliverables produced by Junior Team
- Coach team members how to prepare the Spare Part related deliverables
- Proposes digital approaches to customer
Knowledge:
- Engineering Bachelor degree or diploma with relevant working experience
- General knowledge of the equipment, methods and processes used in the oil industry
- Familiar with ISO 55 000 / ISO 31 000 /ISO 14224
- Knowledge of ERP such as SAP or Maximo or Oracle
- Excel – Macros/Formulas
- Familiar with API, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, NDT, BS ISO, NFPA and NACE is an advantage
- Familiar with RBI/RCM/RBM/RAMS/FMEA/LCC methodologies is an advantage
- HSE Culture / Ethics & Quality orientation
- Any international certifications is an advantage
Know-How:
- Operational experience in oil production or engineering
- Development of technical solutions in operational context
- Reporting
- Shall have experiences in optimizing spares part for Field operations.
- At least 5 years of working experience in Engineering or Operational Environment
Personal Qualities/Profile:
- Minimum experience as Spare Part engineer: 5 years
- Ability to analyse

- Good sense of initiative and anticipation
- Understanding of strategic stakes
- Familiar and had experience working at site/field.
