Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity to manage the day-to-day Plants operations and First-degree Maintenance programs at an onshore field that produces oil.
Your main duties will be to:-
·  To organize the day-to-day Plant activities, managing the operators dispatching, following up tasks execution and reporting the feed back to the production superintendent in liaison with the control room.
·  To prepare commissioning procedures
·  To act as site representative for commissioning and/or startup operations.
·  To supervise the operating parameters of the production and utility process’s/equipment.
·  To organize the execution of level one and level 2 maintenance including minor repairs on production equipment’s.
·  To supervise the coordination of the work permit execution, applying precautions/conditions highlighted, ensuring the tidiness of the area, and managing the Permit to work tracking system. 
·  To advise the Production Superintendent of any potential hazardous situation or changes to operating conditions and implements any actions necessary to maintain safe continuous hydrocarbon production.
·  To manage the shift organization of operators under his resp.
·  To ensure the validity of the well tests according to procedures and well performance program for new wells considering well start up procedure emitted by WPWI Eng.
·  To prepare the daily report.  
·  To enforce the waste management philosophy on the Plant.
·  To supervise the operations under his resp. as HSE representative regarding the safety and environment policy.
·  Supervise in person the delicate or risky field operations. 
·  Assume the operational responsibilities as part of the work permit.
·  Ensure that all activities are conducted in respect of HSE Group standards and in accordance to the Italian regulations
Promote Company’s HSE and quality policies, rules, procedures, and programs; Implement actions in order to reach Company’s HSE objectives; Promote safety and environment awareness.

Accountabilities:
·  Manage the Chemicals supply and monitoring on the Plant if necessary related to his responsibilities.
·  To ensure that plants and equipment run according to operating procedures, Company rules and production requests.
·  Supervision of main production parameters, downgraded situations, shifts hand over; etc…
·  To ensure that operations activities are conducted in compliance with safety and environmental protection.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Candidate profile:
Ideally you will have graduated in chemical/production engineering with a minimum experience of 5/10 years of experience in Totalenergies affiliate within working in operation.
You are fluent in Arabic, and fluency in English or French would be an advantage.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.&lt;br /&gt;

The CSL leads the on-site commissioning organization, composed of local discipline leads, supervisors, and technicians.

Manage and supervise local commissioning teams, including discipline leads, supervisors, and technicians.
Ensure all commissioning activities are executed in accordance with:

Project procedures and specifications.
Manage execution within a brownfield environment under SIMOPS constraints

• Flushing, blowing and cleaning activities (water flushing, air blowing, steam blowing as
applicable)
• Drying and preservation activities
• Valve inspection
• Verification of correct installation of spectacle blinds and spades
• Final reinstatement after testing
Ensure no pressure test or system release occurs without Company validation.
2.4 Documentation &amp; Quality Control
• Review and approve:
o Test packs
o Hydrotest dossiers
o Method statements
o Inspection &amp; Test Records (ITRs)
o Pressure charts and calibration certificates
• Monitor punch list identification and closure (A/B/C categories as per project).
• Ensure redline markups are properly reflected in P&amp;IDs and Isometrics.

1. Role &amp; Objective

The Commissioning Superintendent – Night Shift shall act as the Company Commissioning representative during night shift activities.
 He is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of commissioning activities in accordance with TotalEnergies standards, project procedures, and the approved commissioning strategy.
2. Scope of Responsibilities

2.1 Commissioning Supervision
Represent the Commissioning team during all night shift commissioning activities.
Ensure commissioning activities are performed in line with approved procedures, commissioning philosophy (OPERCOM), and ICAPS requirements.
Verify system readiness prior to commissioning activities.
Monitor punch list status and ensure timely clearance in coordination with Construction and Commissioning teams.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues arising during night shift operations.

2.2 Interface &amp; Coordination

Act as the focal point for night shift commissioning activities.
Ensure proper coordination between Construction, Commissioning, Operations readiness, and HSE teams.
Perform structured handover with day shift teams to ensure continuity and alignment of activities.

Interface with Client representatives as required during night shift.
2.3 HSE &amp; Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with TotalEnergies HSE rules, Life Saving Rules, and project HSE procedures.
Enforce safe execution of commissioning activities, including SIMOPS management.
Immediately stop any unsafe activity and report HSE events in accordance with project escalation procedures.

2.4 ICAPS &amp; Documentation
Ensure correct and timely update of ICAPS status for systems and subsystems under commissioning.
Validate commissioning dossiers, test records, and handover documentation generated during night shift.
Ensure commissioning activities contribute to system completion and handover milestones.

2.5 Reporting
Prepare and issue daily night shift commissioning reports.
Report progress, deviations, risks, and constraints impacting commissioning objectives.
Escalate critical issues to the Commissioning Manager without delay.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas commissioning activities.

Role Purpose
Serve as the client’s focal point for all construction activities during night operations, ensuring safe execution, discipline coordination, progress continuity, and compliance with project standards across mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and supporting works.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise night-shift construction activities on behalf of the client.
Monitor contractor performance, workfront readiness, manpower deployment, and productivity.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE rules, method statements, permits, and work procedures.
Provide field coordination across disciplines and resolve site-level technical or interface issues.
Verify work quality, installation practices, and alignment with drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with day-shift leadership to ensure smooth handover and continuity of works.
Prepare night-shift reports, progress updates, and early warnings for risks or delays.
Act as the primary contact for emergencies, incidents, or unexpected work conditions during night operations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Msc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Broad working knowledge of other disciplines (E&amp;I, piping, structural, utilities).
8+ years’ experience in construction supervision on major industrial / oil &amp; gas projects.
Proven experience in shift-based or brownfield/live-site environments preferred.
Strong leadership, coordination, and safety stewardship mindset.&lt;br /&gt;

SUPPORT
 Ensure permanent control of the application of the Company’s HSE Management System and Bridging Documents requirements between
Contractors involved in operations &amp; Company.
 Support Company’s Senior Supervisor to identify and minimize risks especially downgraded situations. Participate in performing Operational
Risk Analysis and job analysis for critical tasks.
 Participate in Kick off meetings, Pre spud meetings, daily meetings. Participate randomly in Pre Job Meetings.
 Ensure and/or Deliver HSE inductions at the activity sites.
 Ensure HSE training compliance of the personnel on site (H2S, ERW,…)
 Coach and mentor crews in all aspects of daily HSE best practices as well as the company HSE Golden rules.
 Contribute to compliance with Company’s HSE Objectives. Follow up on progress. Generate and propose improvements.
 Ensure communication of Return of Experience on all HSE related matters (e.g. Safety Feedback Notices). Participate in HSE performance
improvement with recommendations of initiatives based on audit results or analysis of incidents.
 Organize implementation/training/sensibilization of Company’s HSE campaigns.
 Coordinate the implementation and updating of Contractors' emergency plans, as well as collaborate in the organization of emergency/accident
drills.
 Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents/accidents/anomalies (participate in Cause Tree analysis when required). Consolidate
and issue investigation report. Follow up the implementation of identified actions.
 Assist the Company’s Senior Supervisor in the organization and preparation of Site HSE Committee presentation and minutes.
 Verification of location status upon completion of Rig disassembly and prior to location Handover.
 Controls the trafficability and condition of the roads before starting the DTM. Collaborates in the preparation and dissemination of the "Road
Map".
 Being trained as CPLO (Competent person for lifting personnel) Level 1
 Assist Company’s Senior Supervisor on SIMOPS follow-up.
 Ensure compliance of site activity with Company’s Waste Management Plan.
REPORTING
 Ensure monitoring and reporting of HSE key performance indicators (KPI) set by the Company.
 Maintain updated HSE boards at the activity sites.
 Perform the upload, update, follow-up and closure of Cases in the Synergi system.
 Ensure the correct analysis, follow-up and improvement of reported anomalies in a reliable database.
 Keep a record of corrective actions arising from internal/external audits, HSE tours and incident/accident reports.
AUDITS &amp; INSPECTIONS
 Contribute to the organization of internal/external audits, technical reviews, HSE Tours. Follow up of actions taken.
 Perform spot audits (PTW, Check List of vehicles, Contractor's facilities, Camp, equipment and tools, Canteen…)
 Control FiFi system, means of evacuation/rescue and meeting points.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The job holder should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas industry and a minimum of 5 years as Safety Advisor (or
equivalent) on Drilling &amp; Completion operations. Experience on onshore operations is a plus.
Dynamic, proactive, very organized and detail oriented.
Fluent in English, fluency in Arabic appreciated.

Advise the Company’s Senior Supervisor on HSE matters. Contribute to ensure that activities are carried out according to the Company's HSE
Policies and procedures (procedures, downgraded Situation Management Plan, Oil Spill Contingency Plan, Waste Management Plan, Bridging
documents, Medevac ...). Ensure Site’s HSE reporting. Participate to HSE reviews and audits.
 Ensure that information on all serious incidents/accidents is immediately communicated to the Company’s Senior Supervisor and an appropriate
investigation, analysis and classification report is established promptly.&lt;br /&gt;

HSE
Adopt and demonstrate exemplarity towards HSE rules with associated enforcement and control within his area of responsibility.
Prevent major incidents (blow out, loss of asset, wells integrity issues) through detailed and reliable engineering studies
Ensure compliance with TE referential and actively support the preparation of derogations to the rules when required.
Drilling campaign preparation &amp; readiness
Participate and contribute to the elaboration of the well SOR (Scope Of Requirement) jointly with D&amp;W &amp; GSR entities.
Perform or contribute to studies required for the preparation of the AGUP campaigns. Coordinate as required with completion team. Update Basis of Design document as required.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedure.
Contribute to risk assessments and contingency plans.
Prepare technical documents and participate in meetings/presentations with authorities and partners when required.
Organize and lead the pre-spud meeting and contribute to the DWOP (Drill Well On Paper).
Operations follow-up &amp; close-out
He/she is assigned to 1 drilling unit along with a drilling superintendent.
Design and prepare drilling programs. Ensure adherence to TE referential, Basis of Design and validated work program.
In charge of the daily operations &amp; performances follow-up and reporting.
In charge of issuing drilling program and of producing Standard Operating Procedure to cover overburden sections ensure integrating latest operational learnings and/or design updates.
Perform and/or coordinate studies to improve the operational performances.
Perform QAQC check to ensure Wellview is properly and accurately filled up. Perform daily QAQC of well trajectory data, Daily Drilling Reports and invoicing/cost sheets
Evaluate drilling parameters / events and interpret to advise as required in potential optimization and improvements, or potential problems to come.
Be part of technical/HSE incidents investigation teams (when required).
Manage the RTOC linked to drilling rig operation
Contribute to the preparation of Management of Change and issue same in collaboration with DCSI.
Actively support DCSI to prepare LLI plans for upcoming wells and ensure all sub-assemblies are prepared by service providers.
Organize and present to operational team activities program to come through Pre-Spud and Pre-Phase meetings on the rig.
Support drilling &amp; completion team in the well integrity assessment as required.
Perform visit to the wellsite to support operations (when required).
Contribute to the good functioning of the Well Construction entity by supporting the operational engineering team.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Petroleum Industry MSc (or equivalent professional experience) with 5 to 10 years’ experience in Drilling activities (Engineering and Operations)
Valid IWCF certification and up to date HSE training
Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work within an international team of engineers
