We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, KSA for a :
IT Officer
JOB PURPOSE:
To be the link with the Headquarters for the IT management within the BU MEA an Implement and support to the IT transition policy / plan.
He/She is accountable for maintaining proper access rights to sensitive data and ensuring protection of personal data such as medical records.

REPORTING TO:
Regional Finance Manager
 TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Maintains the computer systems, servers and networks of the BU. He / she may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems.
· Installing and configuring new computer and server, Installing and testing new software and corporate software
· Maintaining computers, servers and network hardware
· Maintaining in house software (GEMS / EDMS / Prolog / SAGE), insuring they are working properly
· Insuring the coherence of the data informed in the in-house software, taking care of their recurrent updates
· Extracting data of in-house software upon the request of other support functions, business centers or Headquarters
·  Administering file server user permissions and data access policies
· Managing firewall, email and spam filtering systems
·  Ensuring anti-virus software is installed, properly configured, regularly updated and working properly on all PC and server stations
·  Monitoring LAN for security issues
·  Creating and setting account users in Active Directory, managing Active Directory and Group Policies
· Setting up and maintaining backup system, and onsite/offsite storage
·  Planning for disaster recovery
·  Installing software available to appropriate users
·  Monitoring against usage of unlicensed and unauthorized software
· Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware &amp; software failures (application plus system data base)
· Implement IT solutions, policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and availability of existing infrastructure, ensure integrity of all company electronic data, and support effectively the company goals and strategies.
· Liaise with external support agencies to resolve faults specify.
· Identifying suitable IT vendors and support contractors
· Liaising with external support agencies to resolve faults
· Maintaining computer peripheral equipment e.g. printers, scanners
· Maintaining IT inventory and software licensing compliance checklist
· Managing Relationship with system subcontractor
· Correspondent with the headquarters IT team and the subsidiaries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree (with preference of a Technical qualification) or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of IT maintenance experience ideally with the region
REQUIRED SKILLS:
·  Strong knowledge of all software, hardware, database, servers etc. used in the company’s network
· Ability to troubleshoot and swiftly resolve issues
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office&lt;br /&gt;

Operations
 ✓ Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
 ✓ Assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
 ✓ Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
 ✓ Enters intervention reports in the CMMS and writes the technical reports related to his field,
 ✓ Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment systems which are under his responsibility,
 ✓ Performs the diagnostics and trouble shooting in the PLC,
 ✓ Follows-up the parameter values and alarms in the concerned systems, for condition monitoring purpose,
 ✓ Carries out on request, any intervention within his field of competence.
 ✓ Assists the L-iCSO to ensure an acceptable Cybersecurity level of the SII
 ✓ Ensures all cybersecurity rules are applied on the WORKSITE he is appointed.

Methods
 ✓ Proposes any relevant action to improve performance and availability of control system.
 ✓ Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
 ✓ Guaranties that software produced for modification or corrective actions are in conformity with functional analysis,
 ✓ Guaranties that control system documentation is up to date,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications required
The holder of this position must have the following qualifications: Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
✓ At least 3 years as control system specialist in petrochemical industry,
✓ A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
✓ Specific professional knowledge: CMMS : SAP/R3, all types of PLC
✓ Specific knowledge in networks and Cybersecurity, dedicated training proof is a plus
✓ Ability to work in a large multinational team
✓ Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
✓ Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
✓ Working language: English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)&lt;br /&gt;
