 Sr. Material Analyst

Single focal point for all materials and materials related issues to ensure safe deliveries and availability of materials on time to serve maintenance planned and unplanned spares/ consumables/ special and equipment requirement.

 Duties and Responsibilities
a) Review and approve requests for new materials creations and updates (PO text, stock parameters, Stock location, etc.), through MDG 
b) Review and approve BOM's creation and update/ deletion, etc., through MDG. Including projects, eMOC’s shutdown, etc. 
c) Follow-up with procurement and expediting for delivery of PO's, overdue PO's and long Pending PR's, and critical materials 
d) Steward, coordinate and follow-up of emergency procurements 
e) Resolve suppliers Technical Clarifications and follow/ monitor Technical Bid Evaluations 
f)Coordinate and steward Repair and return of materials (External), including capital spares monitoring and return to ensure availability 
g) Coordinate logistics to and from vendors, follow-up and update 
h) Facilitate return to stock, through warehouse returns, refurbishment process
i)Provide and update refurbishment status report (traceability and visibility)
j)Monitor Spares preservation- Ensure availability when needed. 
k) Monitor PM WO's release on time, PM WO's update and Task Confirmation, CM post PM WO close-out 
l) Ensure availability of ES for capital/ identified spares for preservation, and support warehouse in identifying non-capital spares for preservation and update 
m) Coordinate and Clear ongoing and long pending issues with engineering and supply such as: 
a. Materials discrepancy reports (from suppliers), 
b. materials returns, write-off and disposal, 
c. collection of direct charge and aging reservation materials 
d. Stock levels adjustment, etc.
n) Development and analysis of regular and adhoc materials status reports, such as 
a. Weekly, bi-weekly and materials status reports, 
b. MDG reports, 
c. Nonstock materials, aging reservations, temporary laydown area, 
d. Excess stock and Stock out, etc. 
e. Obsolescence reports by LCM 
f. technical clarifications reports
o) GE-CSA (BH) support: 
a. Approve ZVPO for spares handover and follow-up, 
b. customs clearance approval, CC allocation, 
c. loaning, 
d. R&amp;R, etc. 
e. interface and stewardship to resolve and support all GE/ BH issues&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Educational Qualifications:
Minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent) in Engineering.
Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the maintenance materials management/ spares management/ planning, in the Oil, Gas or Petrochemical Industries.
Computer Skills: Computer literate with proficient knowledge of SAP and commonly used Microsoft business software packages required.
English Language Skills: Good written and oral communication skills in English.

• Should be proficient in SAP Material transactions. 
• Should understand Maintenance Business Process. 
• Should be able to read material specifications and understands specific material requirements

2.2 Contractor Supervision &amp; Assistance
• Supervise Contractor PVV Pre-Commissioning activities.
• Verify adequacy of manpower, certified technicians, calibrated gauges, and test
equipment.
• Assist Contractor in resolving technical interface issues when required.
2.3 Technical Oversight – PVV Scope
Witness, review and validate Contractor execution of:
• Line checking against P&amp;ID and Isometrics
• Hydrostatic testing of piping systems
• Pneumatic testing where applicable
• Flushing, blowing and cleaning activities (water flushing, air blowing, steam blowing as
applicable)
• Drying and preservation activities
• Valve inspection
• Verification of correct installation of spectacle blinds and spades
• Final reinstatement after testing
Ensure no pressure test or system release occurs without Company validation.
2.4 Documentation &amp; Quality Control
• Review and approve:
o Test packs
o Hydrotest dossiers
o Method statements
o Inspection &amp; Test Records (ITRs)
o Pressure charts and calibration certificates
• Monitor punch list identification and closure (A/B/C categories as per project).
• Ensure redline markups are properly reflected in P&amp;IDs and Isometrics.
• Review final PVV Pre-Commissioning dossier before handover.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years Oil &amp; Gas experience

• Marshalling cabinet inspections
• JB (Junction Box) inspection and continuity verification

 Ensure the correct analysis, follow-up and improvement of reported anomalies in a reliable database.
 Keep a record of corrective actions arising from internal/external audits, HSE tours and incident/accident reports.
AUDITS &amp; INSPECTIONS
 Contribute to the organization of internal/external audits, technical reviews, HSE Tours. Follow up of actions taken.
 Perform spot audits (PTW, Check List of vehicles, Contractor's facilities, Camp, equipment and tools, Canteen…)
 Control FiFi system, means of evacuation/rescue and meeting points.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The job holder should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas industry and a minimum of 5 years as Safety Advisor (or
equivalent) on Drilling &amp; Completion operations. Experience on onshore operations is a plus.
Dynamic, proactive, very organized and detail oriented.
Fluent in English, fluency in Arabic appreciated.

Advise the Company’s Senior Supervisor on HSE matters. Contribute to ensure that activities are carried out according to the Company's HSE
Policies and procedures (procedures, downgraded Situation Management Plan, Oil Spill Contingency Plan, Waste Management Plan, Bridging
documents, Medevac ...). Ensure Site’s HSE reporting. Participate to HSE reviews and audits.

2. Liaison with Engineers and designers
3. Liaison with Document Controllers and Support Staff
4. Use of proprietary software applications and tools
5. Familiarization with necessary industry codes and standards
6. Keeping the relevant Engineers/Managers informed of the progress on tasks that have been assigned
7. Attendance at equipment inspections, factory/workshop acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, commissioning as required.
8. Attendance on site (Site may be in Thailand or overseas).
9. Provide support to follow-on engineering, start-up, and commissioning teams
10. Identify opportunities and report to Discipline lead and/or management&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation and Control) or related field.
 2. Proficient in the use of computers and knowledge
 of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD
 3. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
 4. Demonstrates urgency when working to tight deadlines, whilst
 maintaining high standards of output
 5. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates
 ability to communicate in a confident, professional and articulate
 manner at all levels throughout the organization
 6. Quality orientated, with a focus on attention to detail Quality
