Contract Handling - Participate in maintenance contracts handling including scope development, specifications, initiating procurement process, technical evaluation and provide support to superiors for management approval process as and when required. - Day to day coordination with contractors to supply manpower and/or services based on requirement during daily work order planning. - Verify and process the invoices submitted by the contractor. Spares and Materials management - Communicate and Co-ordinate with end-users to ensure spares and materials are made available by Planning Engineers for schedule activities. Also provide feedback to MRP so that cost-effective replenishment levels are maintained. - Updating the item master including item specifications, Bill of Material, Spare Parts Criticality and new item codes in ERP as and when required. - Responsible for the Periodic Inventory review & Changes in the buffer stock levels with the coordination of end-users. - Co-ordinate with Supply Chain department and Contractors for procurement of spares to ensure the availability.

Bachelor’s Engineering degree (12+4 years) in (Mechanical ) 10 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and competency* Hands-on experience of the Work order part of EAM (enterprise asset maintenance) module of SAP would be preferable. With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC), Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility, Manages interventions using the CMMS and checks intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field, Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself, Maintains all mechanical equipment (Gearboxes, Pumps, Compressors, Gas compressor, Cranes, Accumulators, heat exchangers, Fans, Lifeboats, Liferaft, Diesel generators SDG/EDG, Firefighting package, Strainers & filters). Knowledge of Pumps (Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Piston, Gear, Peristaltic, Dosing, Lubrication pumps), Compressors (Piston, Scroll, Screw, Centrifugal, Vane compressors). Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in mechanical systems, Air compressors, Gas lift compressor, Water injection systems, Cranes, pumps, etc. Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Asset Care routine to ensure PM/CM close-out and Integrity of Asset maintained. Troubleshooting mechanical issues using appropriate testing devices. Organize for all maintenance activities (Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures). Daily parameter logging, and records. Methods Provide support in repair, installation, and commissioning Analyses indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports with a view to improving maintenance in his area (HSE, availability, preservation of equipment, optimisation of costs), Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggests improvements, Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements, Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts, Suggests improvements and requests modifications. Quality Assurance In addition to audits and reviews as above mentioned he participates in periodic meetings with GMC and SMC to ensure proper surveillance. Also, designs, follows-up and optimizes maintenance concepts in close cooperation with the GMCs and SMCs.

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications: Higher National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) 10 to 15 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations, Strong offshore maintenance experience
