The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of project management teams within company. This role focuses on ensuring the successful execution of projects, managing both project managers and individual projects, fostering strong client relationships, and enhancing overall service delivery.
LOCATION: The role is based in Abu Dhabi. Frequent travel to Iraq is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of project managers, ensuring efficient execution of all projects.
- Directly manage key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety standards across all projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their needs and expectations.
- Prepare and submit competitive offers and proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with project capabilities and client requirements.
- Monitor project performance, providing regular reports to the Country Manager and stakeholders on progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor project managers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
