Job description
The HSE Supervisor is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across onshore oil & gas field activities. The role ensures that all field operations are conducted in compliance with TEEP HSE policies, project specifications, and applicable local and international regulations. The HSE Supervisor provides on-site leadership, coaching, and supervision to promote a strong safety culture and prevent incidents.
Profile
A motivated and safety-focused HSE Supervisor, Iraqi national, holding a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on HSE experience in onshore oil & gas field operations. Experienced in supporting day-to-day field activities including construction, maintenance, and production operations while ensuring compliance with company HSE policies, client requirements, and local regulatory standards.
Demonstrates strong field presence with practical knowledge of Permit to Work systems, Job Safety Analysis, risk assessments, and toolbox talks. Actively supports incident reporting, near-miss investigations, and implementation of corrective actions. Familiar with environmental controls, waste management practices, and emergency response procedures within oil & gas sites.
Capable of working effectively with multicultural teams and contractors, with good communication skills in Arabic and working knowledge of English. Proactive, disciplined, and committed to promoting a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance across field operations.
