Job description

In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for a MachineShop Supervisor H/F in Angola.

 

Rotation: 8*3 // 6 days/week // around 9 hours/day.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage machine shop operations and stock inventory
  • Program and operate CNC machines (reading/editing G-codes)
  • Perform precision machining for OCTG, accessories, DP & HWDP
  • Conduct quality control using precision measuring/calibration instruments
  • Ensure operational risk management and HSE compliance
  • Supervise and train machine shop team

Profile

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:


Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of oilfield threads (premium types)
  • OCTG accessories, Drill Pipe (DP) & Heavy Weight Drill Pipe (HWDP) machining requirements
  • Trigonometric calculations and technical drawings interpretation

CNC Proficiency:

  • CNC programming and G-code editing
  • Precision measuring instruments and calibration

 

Operational Skills:

  • 6 years experience in oil industry
  • Stock management and computer tools
  • Strong understanding of operational risks

 

Soft Skills:

  • Team management and leadership
  • Fluent English & Portuguese
