We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha, Qatar for a :
Deck Operative/ Banksman M/F
Job Purpose:
- Safely assist in operation of various lifting and deck activités within safe working load (SWL).
Work at height within operational limits.
Assist in completion of preventive maintenance work.
Optimise the safe offloading and loading of cargo to and from supply vessels.
Overseeing the safe Transfer of personnel to and from shuttle vessels.
Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure safety targets are met.
Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment,
fostering collaboration across the organization.
Promote cost consciousness in order to embed a strong cost culture.
Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture.
Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures,
that ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to ensure Process Safety, Operational
Safety and Plant Integrity.
Education: High School Diploma / College Technical certificate in discipline or higher
Industry Experience: Minimum 4 years recent experience in offshore deck and cargo operations.
Competencies and Behaviors:
Thorough knowledge of Offshore lifting operations and Helicopter operations.
Ability to set and implement operational objectives.
Motivated, flexible in approach and with a proactive mindset.
Ability to work with teams in a complex and multicultural environment.
Leadership, communication and analytical skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Computer literate.

T-BOSIET
H2S
Fitness to Work Certificate
Offshore Banksman Level 2 certificate
All staff must be willing to participate in emergency response training and to assist during emergency response
situations if require
