SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator - to join its work force in Nigeria.

Suitable candidate shall be responsible for:

• Setup and administer an AVEVA 3D database for the Project Portfolio Management organization.
• Develop workflows to optimize the benefit of the new engineering design system and continually improve same with lessons learnt and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D plant models using AVEVA E3D, based on approved engineering drawings, specifications, project standards, and design inputs.
• Create and modify equipment, piping, structural steel, supports, platforms, ladders, and other plant components within the E3D environment.
• Provide support and resources to all projects within the perimeter of PPM organizational structure
• Interpret engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications, line lists, plot plans, datasheets, and vendor information and translate them into an accurate 3D model.
• Ensure the 3D model reflects the latest approved engineering information and is aligned with project design requirements, codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Carry out model reviews and design checks to identify clashes, accessibility issues, constructability concerns, and other potential design problems before fabrication or construction.
• Perform clash detection and model validation, coordinating with other disciplines to resolve spatial conflicts and minimize rework.
• Develop piping layouts with appropriate consideration for routing, accessibility, operation, maintenance, stress requirements, supports, drainage, venting, and constructability.
• Maintain proper model hierarchy, naming conventions, tagging, attributes, and database integrity in accordance with project and E3D standards.
• Produce and update isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings, orthographic views, and other model-generated deliverables as required.
• Verify equipment, piping, structural, and instrumentation components.
• Support model corrections, update workflows, record findings and provide clear technical review comments.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and information management teams.
• Participate in quality assurance and model verification activities.

 QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design or Drafting. A B.Eng. / B. Tech is an added advantage.

• Minimum 5years in AVEVA E3D/PDMS modelling and management.

  Proficiency in Navisworks.
• Expert Level Skills in AutoCAD.
• Expert level in point cloud processing and model validation workflows.
• Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, Infrastructure, or Industrial Facilities.
• Familiarity with various modules of AVEVA E3D – Draw, Iso-draft, paragon, Administration & Lexicon.
• Strong ability to model piping/structural/electric designs using AVEVA E3D.
• Ability to setup MDS – multidisciplinary support system.
• Ability to setup and manage projects and databases using appropriate AVEVA E3D modules.
• Production of design deliverable from AVEVA E3D – piping isometrics, plot plan/PGAD, MTO, portable viewing model on Navisworks and
  file import from other software and export from AVEVA to other format.
• Modelling from 3D laser scan to AVEVA.
• Expert Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD with minimum 3years as key user of AVEVA PDMS/ E3D.
• Projectized work environment / culture.
• Experience in Oil and Gas EPC Projects.
• Knowledge of plant design, constructability, operability, maintainability, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Competent in 3D model review, clash detection, model validation, and design checking.
• Understanding of piping components, valves, fittings, supports, equipment, structural steel, and access requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical and spatial design issues.
• Ability to work to tight project schedules while maintaining quality and design consistency. Experience working with laser scan point clouds
  and industrial E3D models
