HVAC Assistant Technician 

Job Purpose:

This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in Oil and Gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with  QatarEnergy in which the Project completed 10 years multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area

Client satisfaction concluded by a new project contract awards with new Positions added.

The candidate shall be carryout the following for:

01. Operation and maintenance of complete HVAC Systems, which includes supervision, planning and scheduling, inspection.

02. Hands-on experience in all type of HVAC system equipment, ducts, dampers and Control system maintenance.

03. Responsible for Inspection, testing, repairing, and maintenance and services all types of refrigeration, forced air heating and ventilation equipment, electronic and electrical components. Installs, replaces, adjusts and repairs pressure regulators, compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors and other HVAC equipment.

04. The candidate concludes with important abilities including Safe work culture and practices. 

Your main duties will be to:-

- Ensuring the maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on HVAC systems.
- Developing and implementing HVAC maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting HVAC malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining HVAC service records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing HVAC efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.

• Ideally you will have Trade certificate in Mechanical / Air Conditioning with a minimum experience of 06 Years in the installation of Electrical / Refrigeration / Air Conditioning / HVAC works and complete maintenance including at least 3 years' experience with Oil & Gas Industries 
• Shall be familiar with pumps, compressors, blowers, pipes and fittings, material specifications.
•  Shall be capable of trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing and overhauling large size pumps, compressors, blowers, packaged splits, splits and window type AC’s, chiller units, cooling towers and the like.
• Shall have experience on all electric, electronic, PLC and DDC HVAC control systems for buildings.
• Experience on variety of skilled work related to the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems as well as for planning, scheduling and supervising the work of subordinates to deal objectively and harmoniously with others, and to render sound decisions.
• Shall be familiar with material specifications, bearings, fasteners, P&ID, Piping Isometric drawings and the like.
• You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills,
• The candidate starts with general skills like repairing and maintaining equipment, running diagnostics, and identifying problems.
• The candidate concludes with important abilities including documentation and communication.
• Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.
• Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving, 
• Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.
• Good knowledge of English and Mathematics at level required for the duties. Good knowledge in Spoken and written English.

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Trade Certificate in Mechanical / Air Conditioning or equivalent
•  Maintenance works hands-on experience on utilities maintenance
• With minimum 03 years' Experience in the installation of Electrical / Refrigeration / Air Conditioning / HVAC works and complete maintenance with Oil & Gas Industries
