Job description

SPIE Global Services Energy is currently looking for ICSS/PLC Supervisor to join its work force in Angola.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Health, Safety, Environment

  • Ensures HSE policy fulfillment during his activities
  • Have a good understanding of COMPANY HSE rules.
  • Assists the Mechanical Supervisor on field to spread the HSE policies and to put the rules in place.
  • Ensures that the team under his responsibility has well understood group policies and apply them
  • Writes on a daily basic risks analysis for specific intervention.
  • Advice, while permit to work redaction, the specific trade measures to establish and ensures tools adequacy.
  • Ensures that employees under his responsibility have the required habilitation.
  • Participate to safety talk before and after intervention
  • Participates to key procedure audits in proactive manner;
  • Respects the waste management policy in force on site, verifying that all activities performed under his own responsibility, comply it, without any exceptions;

Operations:

  • Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
  • Assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
  • Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
  • Enters intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
  • Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment systems which are under his responsibility,
  • Performs the diagnostics and trouble shooting in the ICSS and PLC,
  • Follows-up the parameter values and alarms in the concerned systems, for condition monitoring purpose,
  • Carries out, at the CSR request, any intervention within his field of competence.
  • Assists the L-iCSO to ensure an acceptable Cybersecurity level of the SII
  • Ensures all cybersecurity rules are applied on the WORKSITE he is appointed.

Methods;

  • Proposes any relevant action to improve performance and availability of control system.
  • Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
  • Guaranties that software produced for modification or corrective actions are in conformity with functional analysis,
  • Guaranties that control system documentation is up to date,
  • Ensures mandatory Cybersecurity documentation (as per GS EP INS 135) is up to date.

 

Profile

Purpose;

  • Is responsible for integrity and follow-up of software and hardware for ICSS and interfaces with PLC's on board GIRASSOL/DALIA
  • He ensures that maintenance operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations, within his field, carried out on site by CONTRACTOR.
  • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training by mentoring on site.

Qualifications required;

The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:

  • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
  • 5 years’ experience in the field of control system and at least 3 years as control system specialist in petrochemical industry,
  • A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
  • Specific professional knowledge: CMMS : SAP/R3 / Foxboro DCS maintenance / Triconex and Yokogawa control systems
  • Specific knowledge in networks and Cybersecurity, dedicated training proof is a plus
  • Ability to work in a large multinational team
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
  • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
  • Working language: English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)
  • He must have a proven sense of responsibility
  • He must be rigorous and methodical in his approach to operations.
  • He must show common sense and be able to anticipate and analyse.
  • A natural, flexible authority is essential.

ICSS sourced for Erha should be ok (but not Akpo)

Dalia so English is ok.
