Votre mission
MISSIONS:
1. Develop Operations Philosophy:
- Design a comprehensive operations philosophy tailored to the PDH/PPP site, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Define key operational objectives, performance indicators, and reporting structures.
2. Elaborate with the operation process
- Define the scope of operation services: control room, chemical injection, sampling, etc.
- Evaluate the requirements in terms of subcontacting, means, major tools, storage requirements,
- Detail the requirement for the laboratory (tools and equipment)
- Perform risk assessments of operational activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures.
3. Operation Dimensioning
- Define operation organization (positions, work patterns)
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Inspection engineering team, maintenance preparation team and the procurement team to estimate the annual operation budget.
4. Operational review
- Review and comment all the design and engineering documents to ensure the operability of the plant.
- Participate to 3d model review and plot plan review to ensure accessibility and operability of equipment.
CONTRACT TERMS & MOBILITY:
Contract type : Local employment contract within an international group entity or freelance contract
Full remote during the preparation phase with missions in Cergy (France) and abroad at contract start short term missions overseas at client office and site
Mobilization in Turkey as from January 2027 (or earlier)
Site rotation : 8 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF
Expected final project outcome :
Strong engineering performance by end of 2026
Successful execution of operations and plant shutdown/start-up on site from 2027 to 2033
Votre profil
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Advanced certifications in operations management or process safety
- English : B2 level mandatory
- Turkish nationality or speaking people is a strong advantage
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience as a production superintendent for an Oil & Gas / a petrochemical site, with PDH / PP process
- Strong knowledge in UOP and Lyondelbasel process
- Strong knowledge of operations philosophies, process safety, and performance management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Other - Familiarity with international standards and best practices for operations and safety (e.g., API, ISO).
- Understanding of contractual and commercial expectations
- Strong HSE culture
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment
- High interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills at different levels: technical teams to be supervised, with site top management, with operations, subcontractors and sales representatives
- Working under pressure
- Maintain sensitive and confidential industrial informations
