To implement and maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. To monitor compliance, conduct audits, and promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
LOCATION: The role is based in Abu Dhabi. Frequent travel to Iraq is required.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a coach, leading and coordinating site activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) communication and training.
- Prepare and deliver communications on HSES topics.
- Provide inductions for new employees, ensuring they are aware of risks related to their roles and activities.
- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and safety training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with QHSE standards and regulations. Identify non-conformities and work with relevant departments to address and resolve issues.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, including root cause analysis. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Act as Duty Officer acting as the first point of contact for any incidents or emergencies, coordinating response actions, and ensuring proper reporting.
- Ensure that quality management systems are effectively implemented and maintained. Monitor and evaluate quality metrics and performance and recommend improvements to enhance product and service quality.
