Job description


  • Preparing and executing a resource capacity plan and resource schedules.

  • Overseeing the allocation of resources to projects, including assign the appropriate personnel to job role within a project.

  • Line Management responsibility for all directly employed offshore technical staff.

  • Responsibility for technical staff Performance Management and employee development plan.

  • Working with project planners and project managers to forecast the need for new employees for upcoming projects.

  • Identify the qualifications of new employees to match the project requirements.

  • Managing a team of resource coordinators to ensure all project allocation and logistical needs are met to maintain manning levels across all projects.

  • Addressing resource demands of all roles for the project’s successful delivery.

  • Leading process improvements within resource allocation to ensure consistency and efficiency in day-to-day activities.

  • Management of all Technical pool and management of any people related issues which need to be escalated from the Resource Coordination team.

  • Liaising with key stakeholders to meet all client requirements to allow staff to attend the project.

  • Production of resourcing KPIs and training matrix processes for client interface.

  • Knowledge and application of employment eligibility status and global right to work legislation based on project requirements.

  • Attend regular meetings for resource planning, KPI’s and Non-compliance.

  • Record and monitor in-house field technician’s utilisation levels, including sick leave and unauthorised absence and escalate to HR where needed.

  • Ensure Resource team are proactively attending meetings, populate project data on EGT platform, reporting “just cause” concerns to Head of Operations and via feedback form.

  • Participate in planned rotational call out cover.

  • Be flexible in their approach to the working hours/days to suit project and business needs.

  • Report to Head of Operations and attend regular meetings.

  • Liaise with the onboarding personnel for timely and accurate transfer of data for project mobilisation.

  • Ensure teamwork ethos is always adhered to within the department.

Profile

The role of Resourcing Manager works closely with Project Managers and operational leads to resolve any resourcing conflicts; reallocate resources as needed and support the overall resource planning process. The Resourcing Manager is a key contributor and stakeholder in capacity planning, In-house workforce development and HR related tasks for project personnel such as hiring and facilitating training. The Resourcing Manager ensures the right team with the right skills are in the right place at the right time.

Minimum level of experience required

3 years or more

Required authorisations


  • Educated in Business management or Economics or equivalent.

  • Strategic thinking for efficient negotiating, delegating, and appointment

  • Training, coaching, and mentoring skills

  • Excellent organisation/time management skills

  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

  • Certification in Project Management (Desirable)

  • Proficient in using resource management software, CRM, analytical tools, and project management software (Desirable)

Languages

English (E-Native or bilingual proficiency)
