Job description
SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for Internal Services officer to join its work force in Nigeria.
The Internal Services Officer provides services across four integrated domains, each critical to operational effectiveness, staff experience, and COMPANY brand standards at their respective location.
A. Internal Service Request Management
Ensure all staff service requests are received, logged, prioritized, and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
B. Corporate Events & VIP Visit Management
Deliver flawless corporate events and VIP visits that reflect COMPANY's professional standards, from planning through execution and post-event review.
C. Service Contractor Management
Ensure all contracted service providers deliver services to the specified standards, in full compliance with company HSE requirements and contractual SLAs.
D. Performance Reporting & Documentation
Provide timely, accurate reporting on all internal service functions to support management decision-making and demonstrate value delivered.
Suitable candidate shall deliver the following on a recurring basis:
- Daily: Office inspection completed; helpdesk requests logged and actioned; meeting rooms confirmed ready for bookings.
- Weekly: Event preparation status updated; contractor attendance and performance checked; any issues escalated to line manager.
- Monthly: KPI report submitted covering all service domains; contractor performance summary; budget utilization update; events calendar for upcoming month.
- Event-based: Pre-event checklist completed; event execution report submitted within 5 working days; post-event lessons learned documented.
- Annual: Input to contract renewal assessments for all managed service contracts; recommendations on contractor performance and scope adjustments.
Profile
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Education: HND or B.Sc. in Public Administration, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities/office administration, events management, or a related internal services role within a large corporate or oil & gas environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite), reporting tools, and facilities/helpdesk management systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-service orientation; responsiveness; ability to interface professionally with senior executives and external VIPs.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; ability to manage multiple concurrent events and service streams without compromising quality.
- HSE Awareness: Basic understanding of COMPANY HSE standards and procedures; ability to enforce HSE compliance among contractors and at event venues.
- Integrity: High level of personal integrity in dealings with contractors and vendors; ability to handle sensitive meetings and VIP information with discretion.
