Job description

Planning Phase
·       Develop detailed lifting plans in accordance with project requirements and site regulations.


·       Prepare lifting studies and lifting method statements.


·       Define crane requirements and lifting equipment specifications.


·       Plan lifting activities for:


o   Equipment installation and removal


o   Material handling


o   Scaffolding materials


o   Temporary facilities


o   N2 spread equipment


o   Tools and consumables


o   Truck loading and unloading operations


·       Coordinate lifting requirements with Operations Support Supervisors and Construction teams.


·       Define laydown and staging areas.


 


Site Preparation Phase
·       Verify lifting routes and lifting locations.


·       Confirm crane access and setup required materials for crane access.


·       Conduct field assessment and lifting feasibility studies.


·       Coordinate mobilization of cranes and lifting equipment.


·       Review lifting risks and mitigation measures.


 


TAR Execution Phase
·       Support lifting operations on site.


·       Verify compliance with approved lifting plans.


·       Coordinate crane utilization and lifting schedules.


·       Monitor critical and heavy lift activities.


·       Provide technical support to field supervisors and lifting crews.


·       Ensure lifting activities are executed safely and efficiently.


 


Close-Out Phase
·       Support demobilization of lifting equipment.


·       Review lifting performance and lessons learned.


·       Assist in preparation of final lifting reports.

Profile

·       Experience in refinery, LNG, petrochemical, offshore, or oil & gas shutdown projects.


·       Demonstrated experience in lifting engineering and crane lifting.


·       Knowledge of lifting standards and safety regulations.


·       Experience preparing lifting plans and lifting studies over the 15 years.


·       Strong field coordination and problem-solving skills.


 


The TAR Lifting Engineer is responsible for planning, reviewing, and coordinating all lifting activities required during TAR. The role develops lifting plans to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, scaffolding, temporary facilities, tools, and operational support resources throughout all project phases.
