SPIE Global Services Energy is currently looking for a Tubular Inspector to join its workforce in Ghana. The incumbent will perform independent inspection and verification of API and premium connections on casing and tubing
Key Activities:
- Inspect casing and tubing threads prior to shipment and field use.
- Verify thread condition, cleanliness, storage, and preservation.
- Conduct visual inspection of pin and box connections.
- Measure and verify thread dimensions using calibrated gauges and inspection tools.
- Confirm compliance with API specifications and premium connection requirements.
- Check thread protectors, drift status, tally records, and inspection reports.
- Identify, document, and classify damages, defects, corrosion, dents, or handling issues.
- Witness & validate premium connections (VAM TOP, TSH, etc) make up at contractor premises on Company request.
- Issue daily inspection reports and final release reports.
- Provide recommendations for repair, rejection, or acceptance of inspected tubulars.
- Interface with local contractor representatives and company drilling/completion teams.
- Ensure all inspections are performed safely and in accordance with HSE requirements
- Conduct offshore tubulars inspections, supervise tubulars make up & post job preservation.
- Follow up & QA/QC tubular internal coating process conducted by 3rd parties on ENI materials.
- Prepare tubulars inspection plan/maintenance schedule for ENI OCTG.
