Descrição da função
Roles & Responsibilities
• Supervise the installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of I&E systems including
switchgear, SCADA, ESD, and instrumented control systems
• Ensure compliance with Chevron’s Electrical Safe Work Practices and critical work procedures
• Participate in daily construction coordination meetings and interface with other discipline reps to align on SIMOPS and execution priorities
• Conduct field inspections and verify that all I&E work meets Chevron specifications and industry standards
• Be present during hazardous and heavy lifts involving I&E equipment, ensuring proper
planning, qualified personnel, and safety documentation are in place
• Mentor contractor teams on safe work practices and hazard identification
• Collaborate with construction coordinators, commissioning teams, and operations to ensure seamless handover of I&E systems
• Track and report progress, punch list resolution, and readiness for startup milestones
• Maintain accurate records of I&E installation, testing, and turnover documentation
• Provide daily and weekly updates to the Construction Services Manager and escalate issues as needed
• Track and document daily time-on-tools using IOC tools (e.g. SASBU IODSC), and monitor installation durations versus estimates

Competency Expectations
• Vast knowledge of I&E systems, installation standards, and testing protocols.
• Ability to lead field execution teams and coordinate across disciplines and contractors.
• Safety & Compliance: Strong commitment to Chevron’s OE expectations and regulatory
standards
• Clear communicator with stakeholders at all levels, including contractors and base
business teams.
• Proactive in identifying execution risks and proposing mitigation strategies

Autorizações requeridas
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas construction, with a strong background in
I&E systems
• Proven experience in Turnaround, Brownfield and Greenfield execution, including
SIMOPS and offshore tie-ins
• Electrical licensing or certification and/or an engineering degree is required.
• Medical Check up fit to work offshore
• BOSIET valid
