Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a :

Business Analyst

Purpose
Support the Lead of the Centre of Excellence in optimising Commercial Division performance. Scope covers process improvement, governance & compliance, business intelligence, reporting, and Divisional Strategy execution through the Balanced Scorecard. Full ownership of Procure-to-Pay process understanding is required.

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement: Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process variations across Supply Chain and Procurement. Drive cost optimisation initiatives, conduct benchmarking against industry standards, and maintain the department's document management system sustainably.

Governance, Risk & Compliance: Draft and maintain Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Client policies and regulatory requirements. Act as trusted advisor to Commercial Division departments, interface with Internal Audit as required, and keep Risk Registers updated and tracked to mitigate supply chain disruption risks.

Reporting & Analytics: Compile and manage the monthly Balanced Scorecard dashboard for the Commercial Division. Lead ESG and ICV analytics. Maintain full operational proficiency in SAP-ARIBA.

Functional Strategy: Provide data analysis and business intelligence as direct input into the Commercial Division's Functional Strategy.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in Client cross-functional workstreams including the Sustainability Committee, Regulatory Compliance, Cyber Security register, Tawteen workshops, and Sister Company forums.

Capability Development: Train and coach local talent through structured Career Development Plans. Contribute to the design of competency assessments and training frameworks for the Commercial Division.

Profile

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Law, Engineering, or related field — mandatory. Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) — mandatory. Master's degree — preferred. Minimum 5 years of direct and relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a Business Analysis function. Competency levels per client Skill Catalogue.

Technical Competencies
End-to-end command of the Procure-to-Pay process. Proficiency in SAP-ARIBA. Demonstrated experience in policy and procedure drafting, process mapping, and audit preparation. Ability to design and manage Balanced Scorecard dashboards and conduct ESG/ICV analytics. Familiarity with supply chain risk management frameworks and document management systems.

Behavioural Competencies
Structured analytical mindset; able to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable operating across cross-functional workstreams and governance committees. Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to developing local talent. High standards of integrity and compliance culture.
