Job description
1. Monitor contractors to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, recommended diving practices, and industry best practices. Any deficiencies shall be identified and reported to the Senior Client Site Representative / Diving Specialist;
2. Be aware that on some vessels, monitoring diving activities from the diving control room provides additional assurance by allowing communication with divers and supervisors;
3. Participate in offshore risk assessments and change management processes;
4. Provide short-term, field-based planning input within the scope of competence;
5. Maintain a record of diving-related drills conducted throughout the project;
6. Ensure that contractors perform work in accordance with Company requirements, specifications, and diving regulations such as IMCA and OGP;
7. Issue and close out Permit to Work and supplementary diving permits;
8. Prepare and submit final reports on diving/ ROV activities, including observations;
9. Complete and submit final reports on diving/ ROV activities, including observations and technical feedback on diving/ ROV contractors.
Profile
1. MCA or ADCI Air Diving Supervisor, with offshore oil and gas diving experience (valid IMCA or ADCI membership);
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore construction and diving within the oil and gas industry;
3. Self-motivated, with strong and solid judgment, detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of directing and controlling operations;
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
