We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha, Qatar for a :
Maintenance Manager
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing a Department comprising of the following sections in QAFCO-1-6, QMC and GFC plants:
•Mechanical Process Plants Section
•Mechanical Utilities Section
•Instrument Section
•Automation Section
•Electrical Section
•Rotating Machinery Section
•Maintenance Planning Section
•Turnaround Section
•Workshop Section
This role is responsible for directing, managing, and leading multi-disciplined maintenance engineering functions, to ensure that preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance operations are carried out in QAFCO in an efficient and systematic manner to support the on-going operations of a large multi-site production facility consisting of six urea plants, six ammonia plants, one melamine plant, two cogeneration plants and two UFC plants and meeting the company's goals and objectives. The role-holder is required to promote, follow, and ensure fulfilment of the relevant requirements of QAFCO's Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, Energy, Quality management system and standards.
Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant production experience, including at least 5 years in a senior-level role (post-qualification).
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary maintenance engineering functions.
Strong ability to oversee preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance operations to ensure optimal plant performance.
Industry Background: Hands-on experience in large, multi-site production facilities, including urea plants, ammonia plants, melamine plants, cogeneration plants, and UFC plants.
Skills and Competencies:
Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
